“ Came here with my wife for the first time for our wedding anniversary. This place did not disappoint! The prices are great and the food is all homemade and they give you LOTS of it. It was all so delicious! Our waitress was so friendly and so hard working! She was on top of everything and always with a smile! My only disappointment was that my stomach isn't big enough to try everything on the menu! 10/10 recommend and WILL be going back! Thank you Momma G!!!! ”

“ I'm beyond thrilled I drove all the way from Jamestown to try them. Reservations were the right way to go because it was very busy during Saturday dinner rush. The owner and waitress were incredibly friendly. The place was spotlessly clean. The service was very fast and nice. The food was absolutely the best I've ever had in Rochester! Hands down the best spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti noodles are made fresh, the bread was warm and fresh, the chicken soup was great, the tiramisu was perfect, the red sauce was absolutely AMAZING, and so were their big moist meatballs. I highly recommend them! They said there's another location opening soon with a full bar. I can't wait to try the new location too. ”
“ I came into town for work. Was recommended this restaurant by many people hands down one of the best Italian places I've had in years. I'd never had lasagna that was made with crepes instead of lasagna noodles. It was absolutely one of the best things I've ever ate in my life. Thank you guys so much and amazing staff and amazing food! Oh, and don't leave without eating the dessert to die for. “ Massive flavours, massive portions, make every reason to visit Mamma G's. We called at 6PM on a SATURDAY to make a large sheet pan order of chicken parm and pasta, and THEY MADE IT HAPPEN even though they usually require 24 hours notice. The kitchen brigade are champs for agreeing to this completely left-field request. The food was amazing. The portions of the half-sheet pan is absolutely insane, and a couple of these pans is sufficient to feed an entire Hockey team twice over. The chicken was tender, and rigatoni is done just right, and the sauce, marone, it was fresh and bright and hit the spot. The star of the show is the Tripe. If you come to Mamma G's and NOT GET THE TRIPE YOU ARE MISSING OUT. This is a bright and flavourful variant of the Florentine tripe you can find in Italy: it has zero funk, great texture, and is an incredible deal at 10 for what was expected to be a small appetizer but instead a preverbal bathtub of tripe was inside the take out container. We order a half sheet pan of chicken parm, the house-made pasta with lamb and beef, the tripe, and a half-sheet pan of salad, and the entire thing was under 100 - and the rigatoni and chicken fed us for TWO MORE MEALS. Insanity. They even gave us a FULL LOAF OF THEIR FRESH BREAD. Crazy. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating for a large order at the last minute. Seriously. Mamma G's is the real deal. The dining room is packed, for good reason. Run, don't walk. ”
